John Goullet: Making The IT World Go ‘Round

Mr. John Goullet is both Chairman and Principal of Diversant LLC, one of the largest African-American owned IT staffing and solutions company in the United States. And behind many success stories comes a stumble, a change in direction, and even an embarrassing first effort, which makes Mr. Goullet’s story an inspiration, but also relatable to those who have been and are currently on the same path. Throughout the 1980’s Goullet worked for various companies as an IT consultant. From 1981 to 1983 he was employed by Computer Sciences Corporation in New Jersey. He even earned his bachelors and masters degree from Ursinus College in Philadelphia in 1983. Continuing to gain IT related experiences he also worked for Constell Group from 1983 to 1986, and 3d Information Services for only a year until he founded Info Technologies in 1994 serving as not only the owner but also the Chief Executive Officer for about 15 years. Ultimately, Info Technologies grew into a $30 million empire in less than five years. Due to his experiences and knowledge later on in 2010 John Goullet teamed up with Gene Waddy and merged the Diversant Inc. and Info Technologies and formed Diversant LLC.

The company’s passion to promote diversity is what led to Diversant being its name. One of Diversant’s major goals is to increase the diversity in all workplaces. Diversity is extremely important to this company because with diversity comes not only different backgrounds, but also different ideas. While Diversant many large businesses with the IT support that is needed, they also provide various services for IT professionals. All in all with his continued leadership, visions, and commitment there is no doubt in my mind that Goullet will continue to change the way business is done and help Diversant continue to be a huge success.
